COVID-19 Our Repsonse

Check back here for up to date information regarding our current protocols and procedures.

The Health Department has expressed their appreciation for our continued efforts to support community health by offering a variety of ways for students to continue to dance safely. After all, health is not just about avoiding sickness. It’s also about building strong bodies, minds, and hearts- something that happens in each and every class at Red Door! We are keeping safety and wellness as a top priority. Please read current procedures below:

Updated on June 1, 2021

  • Masks are optional. We know everyone has different family and health situations and believe everyone can make the choice that is best for them.
  • Our lobby is now SEMI-OPEN. While we still encourage parents to drop off, wait in their cars or come back and pick up at the end of class, we will be allowing parents of dancers ages 6 and under to come in the lobby for drop off, pick up or during class. Anyone with questions for our front desk is welcome to come in and be helped by our friendly staff at any time!
  • Drop off and pick up for dance classes will now all be happening through the main building’s front doors (or through the front door at our Annex Room, the Maria Tallchief Room). If you are not sure which room your dancer’s class is in please reach out to us.
  • Staff will hand sanitize before each class. Hand sanitizer will be easily accessible in the lobby and all dance rooms for students to use throughout class as needed.
  • All classes will end 5 minutes early so staff can sanitize the rooms in between each class. Please be ready to promptly pick your dancer up at this time.
  • Do not send dancers with fever or signs of illness. If someone in your household has tested positive for COVID 19 please do not come to class.
  • Kids in Multiple Classes: If your dancer is in back to back classes they can stay at the studio and move to the correct room for their next class.

We recognize this is a strange time, but we are prepared to handle it! We know this is a temporary situation and this will pass. We want everyone to be happy, healthy and to keep dancing!
