SUB REQUEST PROCESS:

Teachers must submit a sub-request form for any classes they cannot teach due to illness, vacation, family obligations, injury, etc. Please make every effort to keep your absences to a minimum and if you will need a substitute find one as early as possible. Program Directors are monitoring our staff capacity and making sure we have plenty of teachers available and not all out at one time. Teachers are then expected to find another Red Door Dance staff member to sub their classes for them.

Teachers are allotted 10 days (total) of excused absences for the classes they teach. This is important for consistency in our program.

When subbing for another teacher, you will log your hours as 'Sub Rate'. Sub rate will still be your same regular teaching rate but will allow us to track our subbing hours for the year.

DAY OF SUBS: Contact Program Director for assistance getting classes covered. EMERGENCY SUBS (after 2pm): If you cannot get ahold of a Program Director call the front desk (972) 490-4446
